Post-Weekend
The weekend was alright. I went out on Thursday with some friends, which proved to be a decent night. On Friday, I went to a party that was being thrown by a friend of a friend. At 11 at night, there were only ten people left in the house, making for a rather boring end to unofficial. My cousin was visiting from the University of Iowa, so I hung out with him on Saturday. Next weekend will be great, though. I'm going to see the Queers play in Chicago and I'll be staying with friends over the weekend. If the weather stays like it has been, this week will be that much easier to get through.

This is Official: You're a Fuck-Off!
The one holiday for Irish Americans is ruined thanks to hordes of drunken, non-Irish students. Those who are partially Irish look for any excuse to look like big, hard, tough Irish drinkers when they've never even seen the country or drank REAL beer. New circumstances have arrived in the past decade that cause the bandwagon retards to disgrace great things such as punk music, cult films, and Irish heritage, among other things. I would be lying to say that Boondock Saints, Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs, and other cult classics were not terrific movies. I would also be a bastard to say that I am not proud of my Irish heritage or punk rock. The fact of the matter is that bandwagoners wearing freshly-bought T-shirts and/or donning other fan merchandise pisses me off. These zombies just follow the fad and buy shit in order to be "in". They know nothing of what they think they're wearing and thus, for lack of a better metaphor, pollute the gene pool of unique things. Dipshits with two percent Irish blood wearing kilts, middle-aged dumbasses who don't know what they're going to see, preppy fucks, emo faggots, and Nazi cocksuckers show up to Dropkick Murphys shows and fuck everything up for the real punks. They have no knowledge of mosh pit etiquette or the band's good albums. They simply don't belong. They then go home to talk to their buddies about how cool they are because they saw real live punks! I hate the fucking dolts, and I blame Hot Topic for creating them.
